Tanzania is the second largest producer of livestock in Africa. Each year one person is estimated to consume 30 Kg of meat, 80 liters of milk and 1106 eggs. This however leads to cruelty of animals through unfriendly rearing and heavy slaughtering. Research has shown that shifting toward a more plant based dietary patterns can potentially provide major health benefits and environmental conservation and lower cruelty of animals. We achieve plant based advocacy through; promoting access to vegan education, supporting vegan entrepreneurs on a resource and organizational level in their efforts to spread the word about vegan, and supporting plant based farmers through donating farming inputs and offering agricultural extension services.
